Tanya Pisarchuk, Sales Manager at 1spin4win on BIS SIGMA Americas: 'The event had a real Latin American flavour'

What are your general impressions of this edition of SiGMA Americas?

This year’s SiGMA Americas had a different pace — smaller, but in a good way. It was easier to move around, meet people, and actually have proper conversations. I noticed a strong Brazilian turnout, which was great for making new connections and understanding that market better. The 1spin4win team also had some productive chats with clients and scheduled a few promising follow-ups.

What really made SiGMA Americas stand out, though, was the vibe. The event had a real Latin American flavor: music, energy, people just genuinely enjoying being there. It didn’t feel like a typical business gathering. That mix of work and culture made it more memorable. SiGMA seems to be carving out a unique space in the region, and I think that’s working well for them.

What themes or trends stood out to you in conversations around Brazil’s iGaming market?

A key theme in conversations around Brazil's iGaming market is the evolving regulatory landscape. Certification processes are still being defined, creating uncertainty for operators. This is further complicated by other Latin American countries, like Chile, where a 20% profit tax is planned, and Peru, which has already introduced a tax for operators, set to rise from 0.3% to 1% in July 2025. LatAm is full of risk and pressure, but something new is starting to take shape.

Brazil has introduced strict advertising regulations to protect consumers, particularly vulnerable groups. These regulations limit promotions and ban influencer-led campaigns. Additionally, operators must provide services tailored to Brazilian Portuguese and offer 24/7 local support, highlighting the importance of cultural sensitivity.

Mobile gaming is also crucial due to Brazil's high smartphone penetration. As mobile demand increases, operators must ensure their platforms are optimised for mobile use, as this is no longer a luxury but a necessity for engaging Brazilian players.

Did any of the conversations at SiGMA Americas reveal unexpected insights about Brazilian player preferences?

Yes, a few chats at SiGMA Americas gave us some interesting insights into what Brazilian players really enjoy. One thing that stood out is their clear preference for classic 3×3 online slots — simple, familiar formats that are easy to get into.

Another thing that came up was the appeal of animal themes and bright, lively visuals. Players seem to connect with slots that have character and a fun vibe.

How well do you think 1spin4win’s games align with what Brazilian players are currently looking for?

Based on what we’re seeing, 1spin4win’s slots are a good fit for what Brazilian players are into right now. In general, players in LatAm tend to prefer simple, easy-to-understand games optimized for mobile devices — classic formats with well-balanced math and rewarding features. That’s exactly what 1spin4win offers.

For the first quarter of 2025, our top 3 slots by bet count in LatAm include Cash’n Fruits Hold and Win, Booming Fruits 243, and Hold The Gold. That last one uses our no-line math model, and it’s especially interesting because even though it’s a different format, the title still found an audience in Latin America.

While staying focused on classic fruit slots, which never go out of style, 1spin4win is also expanding its portfolio with more themed titles. This includes animal-inspired games like Coins Sniffer Hold and Win, as well as tropical adventures such as Sun Treasure and Lucky Bro Hold and Win. We create slots with themes and mechanics that local players can relate to for better engagement.

Did you come across any potential partners or collaboration opportunities at the event that could help boost your growth in the region?

Yeah, we did. The 1spin4win team came back with a bunch of good leads and even started a couple of deals. It was great to catch up with familiar faces and also meet new people who seemed genuinely interested in working together. The conversations felt real. People weren’t just browsing, they actually wanted to talk business.

While 1spin4win is still working on certification, once it’s complete, we’ll have solid contacts and partners, as well as valuable insights. We’ve already started following up, and there’s definitely some good potential for long-term partnerships.

Will your LATAM market strategy change based on what you learned at SiGMA, or did the event mostly confirm your current direction?

The event confirmed that we’re heading in the right direction. We’re already well into getting certified in Brazil, and SiGMA Americas just reinforced that certification is the way forward, especially in LatAm. Regulation is clearly on the rise across the region, and we’re taking steps now to be ahead of the curve.

In addition, we’re focusing on Latin America, and to make sure 1spin4win is fully on track, we’ve brought on Jaime Carvajal, our sales manager, to lead efforts in that market. It’s all about ensuring we’re ready for the changes and staying on top of everything.
